Vida Elementary School Chamché (PM) grade seven

Your class is learning a lot this year! Grade 7 students are continuing to learn to share with those in need, share their faith and nurture their personal relationship with the Lord Jesus through prayer, Bible reading, and active participation in their church. They are learning to discern, analyze, and reflect on life events and situations in the light of the Word of God, making decisions consistent with their faith. They are learning to write with clarity, order, and fluency and to demonstrate language mastery, confidently expressing themselves through oral expression, writing, narration, description and debate. They are working with large numbers on more complex equations. They are continuing to learn about the geography and history of the Americas, preventing natural disasters, and caring for the environment.

Vida Elementary School Chamché (PM)

Located in Tactic, Guatemala, the Vida Chamché campus hosts two elementary programs, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, serving over 500 students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 7. This class is part of our afternoon program, which draws children from the town and surrounding mountain villages—many of whom walk great distances each day to attend. The afternoon session was established in response to the number of local parents seeking Christ-centered education for their children. Because of its central location, the surrounding community is treated to the sound of the children’s voices lifted in worship during their daily devotions. Many neighbors have testified that they look forward to these moments, joining the children in prayer from their own homes. At Vida Chamché, students receive a quality education as their lives are transformed by the Gospel. Our hope is that as they learn to seek God and share His love with their families, they will grow into godly leaders who serve the Lord and impact their community.
