Vida Elementary School Purulhá grade four

Your class is learning a lot this year! In Grade 4, the students are learning to recognize their gifts, talents and abilities and to use them for the benefit of others, and to use biblical principles to address conflicts. They continue to learn that God created them and loves them. They are working on their reading comprehension and writing paragraphs with coherence and structure. They are continuing to work on problem solving in math, and recognizing ordinal, Mayan, and Roman numerals. They are learning about national authorities and their roles in the community. They are learning about the senses and their functions, as well as the major organs of the human body, and how to classify living creatures based on common characteristics. They’re continuing to learn to follow instructions and take care of their classroom.

Vida Elementary School Purulhá

Located in the town of Purulhá, the Vida Purulhá campus hosts an elementary school and a junior high program. This class is part of the Vida Purulhá Elementary School, which provides a Christ-centered education to nearly 200 students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 7. Vida Purulhá was established in 2007 at the urgent request of the local mayor, who recognized the limited educational opportunities available to the community’s children. This invitation was a divine opportunity to share the Gospel with students and their families. Since its opening, Vida Purulhá has transformed the atmosphere of the municipality, serving as a beacon of hope and a place of restoration where the message of salvation is proclaimed daily. As students receive a quality education and learn to seek God, they bring His love home to their families. Our prayer is that they will grow into godly leaders who will serve the Lord and impact their community for years to come.
