Vida Elementary School Chijacorral kindergarten

Your class is learning a lot this year! In kindergarten, the students are learning to acknowledge that God loves them and has good plans for their lives. They are learning to express love for God and their neighbor and to recognize their own uniqueness, and show gratitude for their gifts and talents. They are practicing values and courtesy in their daily lives and demonstrating their creative abilities. The kindergarten students are learning to exhibit indepence by engaging in activities such as coloring, cutting, writing their names, tying their shoelaces, buttoning, personal care and hygiene, and maintaining order. They are continuing to learn their alphabet and are learning age-appropriate logical-mathematical thinking skills, including recognizing and writing the numbers from 1 to 30.

Vida Elementary School Chijacorral

The Vida Chijacorral School in Tactic, Guatemala, is our biggest campus, hosting three programs: an elementary school, a junior high, and our senior high teacher training program. This class is part of the Vida Chijacorral Elementary School, which serves more than 300 students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 7. In Tactic, there is a profound desire among parents for an education that directs children toward the truth of God’s Word while preparing them for His specific purpose for their lives. This remains the core priority of Vida Chijacorral school. At Vida Chijacorral, students receive a quality education and their lives are being transformed.
