Vida Elementary School Chamché (AM) kindergarten
Your class is learning a lot this year! In kindergarten, the students are learning to acknowledge that God loves them and has good plans for their lives. They are learning to express love for God and their neighbor and to recognize their own uniqueness, and show gratitude for their gifts and talents. They are practicing values and courtesy in their daily lives and demonstrating their creative abilities. The kindergarten students are learning to exhibit indepence by engaging in activities such as coloring, cutting, writing their names, tying their shoelaces, buttoning, personal care and hygiene, and maintaining order. They are continuing to learn their alphabet and are learning age-appropriate logical-mathematical thinking skills, including recognizing and writing the numbers from 1 to 30.
Vida Elementary School Chamché (AM)
Located in Tactic, Guatemala, the Vida Chamché campus hosts two elementary programs, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, serving over 500 students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 7. This class is part of our morning program, which draws children from the town and surrounding mountain villages—many of whom walk great distances each day to attend. Centrally located in Tactic, Vida Chamché has a unique spiritual impact on its neighbors. Every morning, the community hears the children’s voices lifted in worship during their devotional time. Many local residents have shared that they wait with anticipation for this time, joining the children in prayer and reflection from their own homes. At Vida Chamché, students receive a quality education and their lives are being transformed. As they learn to seek God and share His love with their families, we look forward to seeing them grow into godly leaders who will serve the Lord and impact their community.
