Vida Jr. High School Mocohán grade eight

Strengthens the comprehensive induction received at the primary level within the Vida Schools. Improves logical, reflective, critical, and creative thinking in solving everyday conflicts. Gains knowledge about technology and school development projects. Enhances dialogue in the prevention and peaceful resolution of conflicts. Contributes to the conservation of the environment and the sustainable development of the school environment. Acquires courtesy norms for peaceful coexistence in their surroundings. Understands their body, health, and well-being for holistic growth and development. Familiar with the artistic, scientific, and technological manifestations in their environment. Identifies various documents according to writing and spelling rules and regulations. Develops an interest in activities that promote a Christian character within the institution. Vida Jr. High School Mocohán

This class is part of Impact Ministries' Vida Jr. High School Mocohán. The community of Mocohán has over 1,000 school age children and yet only one small public school leaving 750 children without the opportunity to go to school. Impact Ministries was given a piece of property by the community council and invited to open a school project. The Vida Elementary School Mocohán opened January 2007 and we provide an elementary program for approximately 200 students from Preschool to Grade 7. The Jr. High School in Mocohán opened in January 2014 and we have 50 students currently enrolled.
