Vida Jr. High School Purulhá grade eight

In the first year of Junior High, your grade 8 students are building on the comprehensive education they received as elementary students within the Vida school system. They are working on improving their logical, reflective, critical and creative thinking skills and applying this to problem solving. They are learning to understand their body and how health and well-being contributes to their growth and development. They are exploring art, science, and technology and learning to exhibit responsibility for their tasks inside and outside of the classroom. They are learning about processes to create and promote social and productive projects for the development of their community and they’re continuing to learn how to live according to the Christian principles they’re discovering in the Bible.

Vida Jr. High School Purulhá

Located in the town of Purulhá, the Vida Purulhá campus hosts an elementary school established in 2007 and a junior high program established in 2012. This class is part of the Vida Purulhá Junior High program, which serves nearly 100 students in grades 8 through 10. Students come from the local community and surrounding villages, including graduates from Vida Nueva Elementary. In response to a lack of local educational opportunities, the former mayor invited us to establish a school here. Beyond academics, this is a crucial opportunity to share the Gospel with students and their families. Vida Purulhá has served as a beacon of hope and a sanctuary of restoration where the message of salvation is proclaimed daily. These students are receiving a Junior High education, which is rare in this region, where many drop out much earlier. Here, they are discovering a future full of hope while learning to seek God and share His love with their families. Our mission is to see them grow into godly leaders who will serve the Lord and impact their community for years to come.
